Distance students
As a distance student you must be willing to self-regulate your studies
and initiate communication through email with the Teacher.
Process
Each month there will be one call (through Skype or Conference call) that will be one hour long. This call may be done one-on-one or with a group, depending upon the student. In this call you will journey, discuss teachings, practice assignments and share personal challenges/successes. You will recieve a manual of teachings (one Chapter per month), ongoing email support and guidance.
You will receive a beautiful manual in which each chapter includes:
- All teachings for that month
- Journeys to strengthen your practice
- Assignments to explore more deeply your own faith
- Instructions on creating the tools of the Healer
- Ritual and Ceremony outlines to engage in with others
- A Celtic God or Goddess journey to ground and connect you to those Great
Beings that live in the mystery.
About the Apprenticeship
The Circle of the Whispering Earth follows the Celtic/Druid tradition, applying this to Shamanism of place - being conscious and connected to the land on which one lives.
You will learn how to apply the Celtic Wheel of the year to your life and honour how it turns within you. You will study the myths of the Ancestors and take what teachings they offer, applying this wisdom to your current life. You will journey and hear the voice of the land you walk upon and the animals and plants upon it and connect this song to the ancient knowledge you carry within.
In the first year of training you are introduced to Shamanic concepts, some of the tools and healing methods and the Gods/Goddesses and legends of the Celtic people. You are encouraged through assignments to come into your own relationship with Spirit and to establish ways of expressing shamanic faith as you are called. You graduate from Year One with a Certificate of Shamanic Practitioner. You will have undergone deep personal and healing work, preparing you for the role as one who is ready to be the bridge to Spirit World for others.

You may then choose to intensify your practice by taking the second year of training which focuses on deepening and strengthening your roots in Shamanic faith and practice. In year two of the training experience sitting in sacred ceremony regularly, questing and learning in-depth Shamanic healing methods, intensifying these to be in service to others. You will practice those methods learned in Year One, strengthening your abilities and confidence. Graduating from the second year earns you the title of Shamanic Healer. You will have built strong connections to the land, to the Otherworld, to those who dwell in Spirit world and will be prepared to offer your services as a Healer.
